Southwest Community Center/Park is home to the recreation staff offices and is located at 3222 West 7th Street. This 20,000 Square Feet facility features a gymnasium/multi-purpose room, game room, kid’s library, meeting rooms, exercise/cardio room and kitchen.
Meeting rooms can be reserved for individual, groups, or family functions. Weekly recreational activities include Yoga and Zumba classes, adult and youth open gym activities, pool tables and games. The Southwest Center also offers seasonal programs and events such as tennis and volleyball lessons, adult/youth basketball leagues/tournaments, arts and crafts, health fairs, summer youth programs and much more. The park area of the Southwest Center provides four lighted tennis courts, playground equipment, and a multi-purpose open space area. Facility hours are Monday 8:00AM to 7:00PM, Tuesday through Friday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
