Financial Transparency
The City of Texarkana, Texas recognizes the importance of financial transparency by opening our books in order to provide a clear picture of spending and by sharing information in a user-friendly format that helps taxpayers understand how their tax dollars are spent.
The City of Texarkana, Texas was recognized by the State of Texas as a Platinum Leadership Circle Award Recipient, the highest award level possible, by scoring 20 of 22 possible points on the state's rating criteria. This award designation is awarded by the Texas Comptroller's Office to cities across the state for implementing financial transparency. Public Information Request
Submission can be made by mail, fax, email or in person. Please include enough description and detail about the information requested to enable us to accurately identify and locate the information requested. Be available to respond to reasonable efforts to clarify the type or amount of information requested.
